AUG 1984: Explorer Software Inc. (Eclipse)

Explorer Software is the original JDM company and was founded in 1984 by JDM CEO Jim McFarlane. Today, Explorer offers construction accounting and project management software to construction companies across North America.

NOV 2004: Versyss Systems Inc. (Versyss)

Versyss Construction Management System is a comprehensive Job Cost Accounting software for the construction industry. It was acquired in 2004 and is managed by Explorer Software.

NOV 2005: Breen Management Systems Inc. (Versyss)

Breen Management Systems sold and supported Versyss construction management software. It was acquired and added to Explorer’s Versyss division in 2005.

JAN 2007: RedSky IT (Multiple Products)

RedSky IT offers industry focused Operational and Accounting Software to the Construction and AEC industries. As part of the JDM Technology Group since 2007, RedSky continues to serve customers in the UK, Ireland, Middle East, Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and Australia.

MAR 2008: Ferrell Companies Inc. (ezDocs)

In 2008, Ferrell Companies sold its document imaging solution, ezDocs, to JDM. Explorer Software manages and supports ezDocs.

APR 2011: CSSP Pty. & Kensington Systems (CHEOPS)

CHEOPS is Australia’s #1 Construction ERP System. As part of the JDM Technology Group, it continues to develop and support construction software for its customers across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Middle East.

JAN 2015: Integrity Software Systems Ltd. (Evolution)

Integrity Software Group develops construction accounting software for some of the top performing contractors in the UK and Ireland. It joined JDM in 2015.

JAN 2017: Vision InfoSoft (Multiple Products)

Based in the US, Vision InfoSoft is a leading provider of estimating, billing, and pricing solutions for electrical and plumbing contractors. It was acquired in 2017 by JDM.

APR 2017: MPulse Software (MPulse)

MPulse Maintenance Software provides world-class CMMS software for equipment and facilities maintenance organizations around the world. It joined JDM in 2017.

NOV 2017: IndustrySmarts (Multiple Products)

Acquired by JDM in 2017, IndustrySmarts provides distributor-branded syndicated product content, web marketing, and pricing services in the building and construction industries, serving contractors, distributors, and manufacturers throughout the supply chain.

JAN 2018: CostCon New Zealand Ltd. (CostCon)

CostCon offers a fully integrated accounting ERP and job costing system geared to contractors in New Zealand. JDM acquired CostCon in 2018.

JAN 2018: Plusfactor (Plusfactor)

Plusfactor is a leading provider of accounting and job costing software to the construction market in New Zealand. It was acquired in 2018 and is managed by CostCon.

AUG 2018: MicroMain Corporation (Multiple Products)

Trusted by 10,000+ customers worldwide, Micromain has been a leader in the maintenance management industry for decades. It was acquired by JDM in 2018 and is part of JDM’s facility management software group.

FEB 2020: TeamWORKS Solutions, Inc. (TeamWORKS)

TeamWORKS has been providing maintenance management software to school districts, universities, hospitals, convenience stores, local governments and commercial clients since 2002. It is managed by MPulse and is part of JDM’s facility management software group.

FEB 2021: Spearhead Software Group (Multiple Products)

Spearhead Software is Australia’s premier provider of estimating, tendering, and calculation software for the Australian electrical industry. It joined JDM in 2021.

FEB 2022: Builder Software Tools (Multiple Products)

Builder Software Tools is the premier provider of ERP software for new home and condo builders in Canada. It was acquired by JDM in 2022.

JUL 2022: Deneb Software (eDeneb)

Deneb Software has supplied proven construction accounting and estimating software to American construction companies for decades. It was acquired by JDM in 2022 and is managed by JOBPOWER.

JAN 2023: AllMax Software (Multiple Products)

Established in 1994, AllMax Software makes wastewater, water, CMMS, and pre-treatment software. It was acquired in 2023 and joined JDM’s facility management software group.

JUNE 2023: PowerCad

PowerCad’s electrical engineering design software helps building contractors, electrical engineers, and manufacturers increase efficiencies and grow their businesses. It was acquired by JDM in 2023.

FEB 2024: STRUXI

STRUXI specializes in construction labor management solutions for North American contractors. It was acquired by JDM in 2024.

SEPT 2004: Conac Group Inc. (Pivot & Axis)

For decades, Conac Group developed software for the North American construction industry. It was acquired in 2004 and is managed by Explorer Software.

OCT 2005: Ferrell Companies Inc. (TCMS)

Ferrell Companies was a trusted provider of enterprise level software solutions for the construction industry. In 2005, it sold its TCMS product to JDM. Today, TCMS is managed by Explorer Software.

MAR 2006: TSC Solutions (TrueLine)

For decades, TSC Solutions was a respected provider of integrated software for the Homebuilding and Construction industries. Its TrueLine software was acquired in 2006 and is now maintained by Explorer Software.

SEPT 2007: Shafer’s Service System (Shafers)

Designed for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other service contractors, Shafers field service management software helps service businesses eliminate bottlenecks and simplify processes. It was acquired in 2007 and is managed by Explorer Software.

AUG 2008: System Solutions Ltd. (Verstar)

Systems Solutions Limited (SSI) was a premier provider of software solutions for small and mid-sized businesses in the Canadian construction industry. In 2008, its Verstar product became part of Explorer Software’s Versyss division.

JAN 2014: Computer Guidance Corp. (eCMS)

For decades, Computer Guidance Corporation has been a trusted provider of construction ERP software for American contractors. Acquired in 2014, CGC is consistently ranked as the #1 job costing/accounting/payroll software for American commercial contractors with annual revenues of $250M+.

DEC 2015: LEVESYS (LEVESYS Software)

LEVESYS develops and supports flexible, scalable construction software that is purpose built for the Australian construction industry. It was acquired by JDM in 2015.

Founded in 1989, ConEst has become a leading supplier of estimating, takeoff, and project and service management software to the American electrical industry. As part of JDM, it continues to develop software for and support its construction customers globally.

JUNE 2019: EPAC Software Technologies (EPAC)

With deep roots in the maintenance business, EPAC Software Technologies is a provider of award winning CMMS and EAM software. It joined JDM’s facility management software group in 2019 and is managed by MPulse.

NOV 2020: Maestro Technologies Inc. (Maestro)

Supporting customers in all sectors of the construction industry, Maestro is a leading accounting, job cost, and project management software for contractors in North America. It was acquired by JDM in 2020.

Acquired by JDM in 2021, Safran is a leading risk, project, and portfolio management software provider headquartered in Stavanger, Norway.

APR 2022: CavSoft Software (CavSoft)

CavSoft is Australia’s #1 Plumbing Estimating & Takeoff provider. CavSoft was acquired in 2022 and is managed by Spearhead Software.

SEPT 2022: AerieHub (AerieHub & Aerie Engineering)

AerieHub has provided award winning building information and facility management software since 1994. AerieHub was added to JDM’s facility management software group in 2022.

JUNE 2023: Mobile-Punch
