David McFarlane

Co-CEO

David McFarlane is Co‑CEO of JDM Technology Group, where he is responsible for organizational strategy and ongoing M&A. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and began his career with more than 10 years of field experience in the construction industry.

In 2009, David joined the family business at Explorer Software Group, starting in sales and later moving into professional services. David became Vice President of Corporate Development in 2016, working alongside his brother John to source, acquire, and integrate vertical market software companies into JDM’s expanding portfolio. In 2026, the brothers were appointed Co‑CEOs, continuing to drive JDM’s long-term growth strategy.

Outside of work, David is passionate about helping others and enjoys the outdoors.
